Desktop Dice

OVERVIEW:
This tool was created with DM/GM TTRPG prep in mind.

With so many PDFs and digital sourcebooks these days, it'd be nice to be able to visually roll dice directly on top of anything else you might have open on your desktop. Keep your PDF Sourcebook and your Session Planning notes open and roll on those random trap tables...

This app can roll any number (within reason) of all commonly used RPG dice. There's a couple of different visual variations of dice sets to choose from. 

Unlike a lot of websites/Discord bots/etc. This rolls actual digital dice using physics just like you would physical dice in the real world, it does not rely on a random number generator.

GENERAL USE:
Click the dice button in the lower left hand corner of your screen to open the dice bar. Left click to add a die to the roll, right click to remove it. Once you've set up the dice to be rolled, click the dice button again to close the dice bar and roll the dice. If you need to close the dice bar without rolling the dice, you can right click the dice button while the bar is open.

If you need to repeat the same roll, you can right click the dice button with the dice bar closed to roll again with the same set of dice.

DISCORD ITEGRATION
The tool is able to post the roll results to a Discord chat through Discord Webhooks. The GM should give you the webhook URL which you can enter to have your rolls appear in the chat. You can also set your display name when it posts your rolls, so you can have it display your character or Discord user name to help distinguish between rolls of different users.

*NOTE TO DISCORD GMs:*
Even though you're probably only giving out the webhook URL to people playing in your game, I do recommend that you change the URL/Webhook from time to time so it can't be used by other tools. A webhook can only post messages to the specific channel associated with it, so it's not that big of a security risk, but it can't hurt to cycle them from time to time.
